Freedom Lending Review

Overall Rating. 8.28571428571 / 10

When we signed up with Freedom lending we were told up to the last day that all debts were going to be paid out yet three debts that were clearly in collections weren't paid out and we had already received the funds into our account. We didn't know until the paper work came two weeks later that they weren't paid after we had taken care of home repairs we needed desperately to do. It was human error but cost us as we don't have the funds to pay the debt. On top of that, the process that was suppose to take 10 business days took 6 weeks!!

JOEL WAS LYING ABOUT RATE for which I was preapproved. I clearly told him that I have line of credit with rate 12% and I interested ONLY IF HE CAN PROVIDE LINE OF CREDIT WITH ADVERTIZED RATE 2.85%. He had all my information including house estimate cost and my Equifax report and he lied to me and forced me to spend money on appraisal. His manager told me on the meting that it's almost impossible to get advertised rate 2.85% and in my situation impossible at all, Joel defiantly knew that I can't get rate which I was looking for based on provided information included Equifax report AND I JUST LOST MY MONEY FOR NOTHING. DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.
To owner.
Your employee was simply lying me that I was pre-approved for product what I was looking for and told me that I only need to pay for appraisal. HE ALREADY HAD ALL MY INFORMATION AND I CALLED HIM AND ASKED - ARE YOU SHURE THAT I WILL NOT PAY FOR NOTHING? HE SAD YES. DON''T WORRY. Only after appraisal he told that his product - the same product what I already have AND HE KNEW THAT I HAVE IT (EVEN WHAT I HAVE - IT'S BETTER) and what I was looking for almost impossible to get for anybody. SO I LOST MONEY BECOUSE YOUR EMPLOYEE LYING ABOUT RATE.

Bunch of scammers. Stay away from these guys as they dont tell you there fees until you have spent money on appraisals and then they scare you with 14000 in fees..These guys are a bunch of rip offs. They tell you want you wanna hear so you can spend money on an appraisal then they turn on you. Dont waste your time here you will regret it. Canada’s mortgage website

Your home is your most valuable asset. It is probably the single largest investment you will make in your lifetime. Your home is more than a place to rest your head and raise a family. Your home contains equity. It is a treasured resource and in some cases, can even be used as an ATM (aka cash back mortgages and HELOCs – don’t worry we’ll get there).

We All Need a Mortgage

Everyone who is looking to purchase a home will need a mortgage. But, what is a mortgage exactly and why do you need it? Besides being the term to describe a loan secured by real estate, a mortgage allows you to access funding to procure your dream home.
